Welcome to my webpage, I am trying to rebuild it after a long absence.   Since the last time you checked out my page I've made a lot of changes.   For one I'm now using a Canon 7 D that I got for Christmas from my husband, LeRoy...Christmas 2011.   I absolute love this camera but have lots to learn about it.   The biggest change is that it is capable for doing video.  Our biggest test was this winter we went south for six weeks went to Texas, the Rio Grande Valley.   We spent a lot of time photographing in the wild life refuges.

I had to take a break from photography for awhile because of health issues but hopefully I'll make up for lost time now that I've been healthier.

Like I have said over and over again you have to have passion with this hobby and practice makes perfect.  It is interesting to compare with others how you interpret your subject.  You can have many photographers photographing the same object and you will see many different types of shots.

I am still a member of the Duluth-Superior Camera Club but haven't been active in competition this past year.   I love to share with others the different wildlife I photograph especially on the Gunflint Trail, our summer home.

For now I'll leave you with this advice "carry your camera with you because you never know when a great opportunity will sneak up on you and you will miss it if you don't have a camera to hold this memory forever"   Also remember take photos of those you love because we don't always have tomorrow.
